BBWFanFest Keeps Growing, Announces Even More Sponsors, Entertainment
With less than two weeks to go, the first-ever
adult convention for the plus-size market keeps expanding, adding new sponsors
and entertainers to its roster to insure that talent, vendors and attendees
alike have a great opportunity to network and enjoy their time in Sin City from
July 12-15.
BBWFanFest is a weekend-long
celebration of plus-size adult industry performers, also known as BBW
performers. Fans of the niche will be able to meet performers and models, get
autographs, take photos, buy videos, and get to know many of the stars they had
previously only been able to see online or on DVDs. The show will consist of a
tradeshow, an awards banquet, seminars, workshops and parties.
With a full entertainment stage
packed with acts like busty adult performer Claudia Marie’s band “Trailer Park Trash,” a highly
entertaining music act mixed with a great sense of humor, diverse performances
from Fuego Fusion, a tribal fusion bad girl belly dancing combination, and
Southern California’s very own BBW Burlesque dance troupe Voluptuous Entertainment, visitors are
promised a bevy of entertainment options guaranteed to please.
BBWFanFest is also proud to announce more sponsors - Las Vegas’ Power Exchange, has come on board to
outfit the BBWFanFest dungeon, located on the tradeshow floor. In addition to
providing the booth with interesting BDSM toys and play gear, they will also
offer gear customization at extremely reasonable prices.
“I had spoken with Mike Powers of Power Exchange many months ago on some
unrelated business, and when we ran into each other at Sin City Bounty radio
show, I approached him with the offer to sponsor our dungeon,” said Kari
Anthony, event director of BBWFanFest. “Mike lit up like a kid at Christmas and
couldn’t wait to get on board!”
A full line up of vendors will be in
attendance, selling everything from shiny playthings and mink tails from Crystal Delight Toys & Merci Toys, plus-sized costumes &
lingerie by 12th Street Newsstand, adult novelties and goodies from Papaya Toys, a mini-makeover station
provided by The Cupcake Girls, and much more. X Tax Pros will also be on hand to
help any companies and talent with their professional accounting and tax needs.
The convention continues throughout
the weekend, with seminars each afternoon, a tradeshow floor consisting of
models, vendors and workshops, and parties each evening. From The White Party
on Friday night, a post-Awards show afterparty on Saturday, to a pool party on
Sunday, the weekend promises to give unprecedented access for fans to interact
with their favorite plus-sized performers. A detailed schedule of events is

Dean Thompson Is Shooting Industry Girls for His Book and Gallery Show
The adult industry has a new photographer on the scene—Dean Thompson. Thompson enters the biz with over 10 years experience working in fashion and has had his work featured in magazines around the world. Although there are other fashion photographers in the industry, what makes him unique is the fact he not only wants to work on set with high-end studios and directors, but he is photographing a wide range of models in the industry for his upcoming book and gallery show. Seismic waves shock and spread through the valley, and this time, it’s not caused by a Black Canary war cry, it’s caused by truly ground breaking news, that adult industry living legend Tera Patrick will be signing along side Sinister X Syndicate at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con, and working with the Syndicate on other upcoming projects too.
Sinister X Syndicate leading lady Lizzy Borden reached out to Patrick for the signing, and Patrick was excited about the opportunity.
“I’m honored, and excited to be working with Lizzy Borden FINALLY !! I’m a fan of all she does and have a lot of respect for Lizzy as a Performer , Director , and fellow business woman. She is also a friend and I look forward to future projects together.”
For Lizzy Borden, the opportunity to work with Tera Patrick is something she is not just excited about, but something she is serious about too.
“Tera is a huge star, and I’m humbled that she would accept our invitation and work with us. I’m a long time fan, she’s been a long time friend, and now finally the timing is right for us to work on some smoking hot super hero projects, and i’m going to bring my A-Game to the table, for an A-List girl like Tera.”
Along with the Comic-Con signing, Patrick will also take part in the Sinister X Syndicate’s Extreme Entertainment Network, playing Spider Woman, in an episodic series available on the company’s “Access Anywhere, Access Everywhere” XentNet content delivery platform, allowing members to view the content on their computers, tablets, mobile devices and TVs in HD with a ROKU set top box. If that wasn’t enough, talks of a non porn comic book are in the works as well.
For a company who has been making headlines for the past few months, this could be the biggest announcement to date. Sinister X Syndicate Head of Sales Dave Peskin is glowing about this acquisition, as Peskin and Patrick go way back. Peskin is Tera Patrick’s former national sales manager, and his excitement and enthusiasm is explosive.
“The six years I spent working with Tera Patrick was a magical time. Working with her again in the present through the future is a salesman’s dream. Patrick will be signing with the Syndicate Friday July 13th and Saturday July 14th and will then be appearing as part of “The Naughty Show” at The American Comedy Co.
With all the excitement of the news, and preparation for Comic-Con, company leader Sinister X wasn’t as boisterously loud as usual, instead his demeanor was much more like his namesake, sinister and sly. When asked his opinion about working with Tera Patrick, a smile spread across his face, a suppressed chuckle and laugh escaped his mouth, and a hand slapped his forehead as he shook his head with a maniacal motion.
“With great power comes great responsibility. Since I have launched the Syndicate all of our news has been big. Now, we just dropped something even bigger. With great power comes great responsibility… How true it is.”
