Penthouse Pet and Adult Starlet Alexis Ford Racks up a Total of Ten AVN Nominations

Alexis Ford, the self-proclaimed wild child of the adult industry, Penthouse Pet, and Howard Stern Show regular, has racked up a grand total of ten AVN Nominations.

Ford’s nominations are for Best 3D Sex Release for Jaws 3D XXX, Best Special Effects for Jaws 3D XXX, Best Parody Drama for 50 Shades of Grey XXX, and Best Romance Series for Tango to Romance. Added to the already-impressive list is a slew of nominations for Jules Jordan’s Alexis Ford Darkside: Best Anal Scene, Best Boy/Girl Scene, Best DP Scene, Best Porn Star Showcase, Best POV Sex Scene and Best Oral Sex Scene.

Kelly Shibari Is Overloaded Garners XBIZ, AVN Nominations

Kelly Shibari’s freshman offering, “Kelly Shibari is Overloaded,” has garnered 1 XBIZ and 2 AVN Award nominations for the Asian BBW performer and her distributors, Monarchy and Exile.

The DVD combines an all-fan blowbang/bukkake based on the Japanese victory in the Women's World Cup last summer with additional group scenes for the busty Japanese-American performer. The resulting DVD, Kelly Shibari is Overloaded, contains a number of firsts on camera for Shibari, including anal and double-vag creampies, in addition to it being her first fan event.

The title has been nominated for Specialty Release of the Year by XBIZ; for AVN, it has been nominated for both Best Overall Marketing Campaign (Individual Project) and Best Specialty Release (Other Genre). Both awards shows will take place in January 2013.
