Kelly Shibari Is Overloaded Garners XBIZ, AVN Nominations

Kelly Shibari’s freshman offering, “Kelly Shibari is Overloaded,” has garnered 1 XBIZ and 2 AVN Award nominations for the Asian BBW performer and her distributors, Monarchy and Exile.

The DVD combines an all-fan blowbang/bukkake based on the Japanese victory in the Women's World Cup last summer with additional group scenes for the busty Japanese-American performer. The resulting DVD, Kelly Shibari is Overloaded, contains a number of firsts on camera for Shibari, including anal and double-vag creampies, in addition to it being her first fan event.

The title has been nominated for Specialty Release of the Year by XBIZ; for AVN, it has been nominated for both Best Overall Marketing Campaign (Individual Project) and Best Specialty Release (Other Genre). Both awards shows will take place in January 2013.

Industry review site XCritic has publicly already given the DVD 4 stars, and has called the title “a groundbreaking film for the BBW genre and … proud to give a Highly Recommended rating to.” The complete review is available here. Other review sites have followed suit, lauding the title as “feminist bukkake” and “libertarian”.

Presented in a reality-TV style, the DVD features the blowbang event, as well as three hardcore scenes, interviews, a cumshot recap, a photo gallery and additional behind-the-scenes footage, and has a runtime of 2 hours and 28 minutes.
