Maryjean to Host Special Late-Night VIP Party at Starlet’s in Queens Tonight

Maryjean will be hosting a special late-night VIP Party at Starlet’s Gentlemen’s Club in Woodside, Queens tonight from 2am to 4am. The beautiful, Dominican porn star will be entertaining her fans all evening, signing autographs, taking photographs, and meeting and greeting New York fans.

Maryjean will also be appearing in award-winning director Joseph Patrick Conroy’s black comedy short film, “Laff K,” as part of a scene filmed in front of a live audience. The shoot, at an art and shipping store converted for one night into a comedy club, will occur this Sunday, November 23 at 1053 Flushing Ave in Bushwick, Brooklyn. “Mainstream acting is a goal I’ve had for a long time, and comedy is what I’ve been shooting for in particular, so I am thrilled to put my acting skills to use,” says Maryjean. “I love [Conroy’s] work!”

“Laff K” stars actor / comedian / writer OheneCornelius, who recently guest-starred on the TV show “Person of Interest.” Maryjean will play the girlfriend of an obnoxious audience member, who insults Ohene’s character during his stand-up set, during a “Comedy in the Bush” event at a comedy club. Ohene and Maryjean’s characters later cross paths again, to solidity the theme of the film - fate.

“I’ve been trying to put together a project for Maryjean and I to collaborate on again for several months now,” says Conroy. “Our previous project, ‘Don Blunderbuss, Private Dick,’ was on a much larger scope. Ohene presented me with the script for ‘Laff K’ in September, and I immediately thought of Maryjean for the female role. I know she’s wanted to do mainstream acting for a while, so I’m really happy I was able to offer her this role. Ohene and I are excited to work with her.”
