Sovereign Syre Finishes Shooting ‘Girls in Heat’ This Week

Sovereign Syre is wrapping up her sophomore directorial work, Girls in Heat, this week with a sexy scene featuring Dana Vespoli. Sovereign feels like everyone really delivered in the movie for Filly Films, which will star Vanessa Veracruz, Reena Sky, Roxy Lotus/Natasha Malkova, Aaliyah Love, Dana, Ela Darling and Keira Kelly.

Once Girls in Heat is in the can she’ll be heading out to New York City where she’ll be working on a movie for Juicy Pink Box/Jincey Lumpkin.

“Jincey only produces a movie or so a year and they are beautiful little gems of editorial style lesbian erotica,” Sovereign says. “I'm really happy to get this chance to work with her.”

She is slated to work with Jiz Lee, who she loves, and April O'Neil, who she has wanted to work with since she came into the industry two years ago. 

“I met April on the set of my third movie and have been trying to get in a scene with her ever since,” says Sovereign.

This past week she filmed a girl/girl scene for Manuel Ferrara, a two-day shoot that allowed her to “do some things I’d never done before,” making for a good time that she looks forward to seeing when it releases in September. “I was really happy with my performance and to be a part of something that is going to be really cool.”

In the new release section of your favorite retailer look for Sovereign Syre’s Lesbian Surrender from Filly Films and next week Girl Candy Films will release Luscious Lesbians: Exploring Siri, directed by Nica Noelle.

Sovereign starred in a pair of movies up for Best All Girl Release at the NightMoves Awards. She is in Girl Crush 3 (Club 59/Elegant Angel) with Dani Daniels, and Lesbian Masseuse 2 (Girl Candy Films), with Asa Akira. The girls broke the massage table in the latter. Sovereign Syre Celebrating Two-Year Porniversary

Sovereign Syre is one scene away from putting her second directing effort, Girls in Heat, in the can, and its completion will fall almost exactly on her two-year anniversary in the adult industry.

It was on Bastille Day two years ago when she shot her first adult scene. While she had already posed for photographers like Holly Randall and Ken Marcus, it was Nica Noelle who first shot adult video of Sovereign, giving her the lead role in My Sister Celine (Sweetheart Video).

Two years later, Sovereign continues to make her mark as a performer and is also making waves as a director. She just received a nomination for the 2013 Sex Awards for Porn’s Perfect Screen Couple along with Asa Akira. In recent weeks she’s been directing her second movie, Girls in Heat, for Filly Films. Last week she shot Ela Darling and Keira Kelly on a giant trampoline and next Dana Vespoli will get her turn in a shower scene.

“All the girls that I've shot have really delivered and have been having a lot of fun getting to play at being glamour girls in a genre where things like glitter bikinis and Lucite heels are a no-go,” Sovereign says. “I told the girls to bring clothes that made them feel sexy, and they've really seemed to relish the chance to play dress up. These are going to be some very hot scenes.”

Soon she’ll be in front of the camera for Lesbian Pussy Worship (Filly Films) and in Vespoli’s big summer feature for Evil Angel. Sovereign and Dana are one of the industry’s best examples of mutually-inspirational relationships, working together in every combination of director-performer possible.

“I'm honored to have starring status in this upcoming project, which is shaping up to be one of the most intense and romantic projects I've been involved in,” Sovereign says of Dana’s summer shoot. “Of course, because it’s me and because it’s Dana Vespoli, we'll be taking a lot of risks and breaking as many rules as possible.”
