On December 1st, the Audiovisual Media Services Regulations (AMSR) went into effect, banning pornographic media depicting acts that could be “potentially life-threatening,” which includes face-sitting and female ejaculation. “Clearly, very little thought went into the creation of these laws,” said Tanya. “Unless, the ultimate goal of the lawmakers was to demonstrate how out of touch and sexist they are, I can see no reason these new laws were put in place.
