TANYA TATE Indiegogo.com Campaign

Geek blogger and prolific cosplayer Tanya Tate (http://tanyatate.com) launches full throttle into an Indiegogo.com campaign to complete production on her My Hero Toys (http://www.myherotoys.com) customizable vinyl figure platform. The My Hero Toys vinyl figure is designed to be customizable by the user to create various characters, established or new. The customizable vinyl figure craze has become a popular hobby as of late, one that major media companies have taken part of. Tanya saw the need for a heroic female platform and began designing it over a year ago. Now, as the My Hero Toys line goes into the final phase of production, she is looking to crowdsourcing for completion.
 
“I saw that there wasn't an already established strong female blank form, so I created one,” said Tanya. “It has been a long and exciting journey to produce this figure and I’m very close to completion. I look forward to having these in hand soon with the help of my supporters.”

The perks of the campaign that funders may receive include items that range from the figures themselves, exclusive figures, signed memorabilia by Tanya and even resin prototypes of the My Hero Toys figure.
 
Indiegogo.com is a crowdfunding site that allows people from all over the world to come together and fund passion projects. Millions have contributed to various projects that include filmmaking, inventions, music and more.

Part of Tanya’s marketing campaign strategy is to create awareness via social media. With her Facebook likes at nearly 400,000 and her Twitter followers surpassing 300,000 strong, the potential to reach her goal is within her grasp.

Popular geek celeb, Tanya Tate (http://tanyatate.com), is set for a special in-store signing appearance for the D-Day of the B Movies event. Taking place May 10th at Dark Delicacies (http://www.darkdel.com) book store in Burbank, Tanya will be joining other horror and pop-culture celebrities for the launch of the second issue of Delirium Magazine.
“I’m incredibly thrilled to be taking part of this event,” said Tanya. “I love B-movies, I’m a life long fan of ‘Hammer Glamour’ horror movies, so this is something I am very excited about. Delirium Magazine is a must read for any horror fan.”
The signing is set to take place at Dark Delicacies located at 3512 W Magnolia Blvd, in Burbank. Tanya will be on hand from 2pm - 4pm to meet horror fans, pose for pictures and sign autographs. Other horror icons that will be in attendance are Stuart Gordon and Charles Band of Full Moon Entertainment. “To be appearing alongside these well known genre personalities is amazing,” noted Tanya. “If I wasn’t signing there, I would be going anyway because of the amazing people appearing there.”
Tanya is also there to support the website launch Erotic Movie House. A site described as "a sensual and seductive viewing experience for both men and women dedicated to sexy genre films. Tanya’s name has been featured across mainstream press over the last week as a story broke regarding an off-the-cuff comment made by actor Samuel L. Jackson. At a press conference, the acclaimed actor made mention that a free adult movie sharing website was one of the best pop culture achievements of the last 50 years.
