Blunderbuss, Private Dick,’ was on a much larger scope. Ohene presented me with
the script for ‘Laff K’ in September, and I immediately thought of Maryjean for
the female role. I know she’s wanted to do mainstream acting for a while, so
I’m really happy I was able to offer her this role. Ohene and I are excited to work
with her.”
