Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce that AVN Best Director-Parody winner Axel Braun, recipient of the 2015 AVN Movie of the Year award for 24 XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, has released the first trailer for his latest release, Barbarella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody. A perfect synthesis of the director's legendary attention to detail and the high production values consumers have come to expect and demand from Wicked, the safe-for-work preview can be viewed below.

 Barbarella XXX marks the debut of Wicked Comix, a new imprint dedicated exclusively to comic book parodies. All Wicked Comix titles are being helmed by Braun, who's currently in production on Batman v Superman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.

A campy, tongue-in-cheek spoof of Jean-Claude Forest’s classic sci-fi comic strip and Roger Vadim's 1968 cult film adaptation, Braun's upcoming release stars beautiful ABP contract girl Riley Steele in the titular role made famous by Jane Fonda. Her co-stars include Wicked Pictures contract star Asa Akira as The Great Tyrant and adult industry legends Tera Patrick and Ron Jeremy, both of whom appear in the new trailer.

“It’s no secret that I had a ball shooting this movie, but editing it was even more fun,” enthuses Braun, who even wrote and performed the film's hilarious title song. “Barbarella XXX is so over the top, and colorful, and sexy...Riley carries the movie like the superstar that she is, and Asa’s performance is so intense and hilarious at the same time that in all of her scenes it was really difficult picking which take was better. Since I announced the movie, the response has been overwhelming. I guess there’s something about Barbarella that really resonates with the fans, and I hope they’ll enjoy the trailer.”

For her part, Ms. Steele more than shares the director's enthusiasm. "Axel showed me the trailer a few days ago, and I was just beyond flabbergasted! There I was, floating in zero gravity in my pink fur spaceship," she raves in reference to the trailer's spoof of Jane Fonda's iconic floating strip-tease sequence. "You also get to see me making out with Asa Akira and sharing the screen with Tera Patrick! I’m so totally proud of this movie, and my fans have been very vocal about wanting to see it, so I literally can’t wait for it to come out! It’s gonna be amazeballs!”

For Wicked Pictures contract superstar Akira, Braun's new film gave her an opportunity to flex her muscles in new directions. “I had a wonderful time playing The Great Tyrant for Axel,” she enthuses, “Between the elaborate set, beautiful wardrobe, and crazy hot sex with Riley, I feel very lucky to have been a part of this big, fun production. Parodies are not something I get to do often, so this was a new and exciting experience for me. I can’t wait to see the finished product!”

The cast also includes ebony starlet Chanell Heart, hot newcomer Rachael Madori, and AVN Best Actor nominee Kurt Lockwood, whose last collaboration with the director was the multi-AVN award winning 24 XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.

DreamZone Entertainment is proud to announce that it has hauled in 14 2015 AVN Award nominations. Known for its blockbuster parodies, DreamZone Entertainment has further solidified itself as a leader in the genre by scoring two Best Parody nominations for its films E.T. XXX and Cape Fear XXX. 

Cape Fear XXX, Bonnie Rotten’s directorial debut for a full length feature, swept up a number of nominations for Rotten, including Best Actress and Best Director – Parody. 

 

The film also scored nominations for Best Screenplay, a Best Supporting Actor nom for Alec Knight and a Best Supporting Actress nom for Chanel Preston. E.T. XXX, DreamZone’s other big parody for the year, earned a nom for Jim Powers for Best Director – Parody, Best Special Effects, a Best Supporting Actress nom for Alana Evans, and a nom for Most Outrageous Sex Scene which starred Jodi Taylor, Bradley Remington and, of course, E.T. himself. In addition, the studio also scored nominations for Best Marketing Campaign – Company Image, Clever Title of the Year for The Little Spermaid, and Best Interracial Release for The Real Housewives of Lex Steele #2.
